For the last 4 years I have had constant GOUT, BACK PAIN, KNEE PAIN, NO ENERGY and I’m sure DEPRESSION. I couldn’t stand or walk for more than a minute without sitting!! I've been diabetic since May, 1962; almost 46 years. After taking Vemma, my A1c measurement is not around 6.9 to 7.5, with the normal person being 6. before, they would run from 6.8 to 8.5, very cyclical. I am considered a brittle diabetic which means that glucose levels have lots of up/down spikes. My heart function has improved 5% in the past year. Cholesterol measurements are all with in diabetic limits, with my good cholesterol being real high. Lipid counts are normal for kidney function, where they were elevated before Vemma.

 Approximately two months ago, I was introduced to Vemma/Verve by a co-worker/friend, Nate Womacks. I only tried a couple samples Nate provided me and I got set up on autoship right away. I was only going to “try” it but I liked it so much, I thought – what have I got to lose, nothing!
I have some serious conditions that require me to take prescription medications. I also have an autoimmune disease called celiac sprue which requires me to eat gluten-free due to being gluten intolerant. That means I don’t digest and absorb food like most people do. In the fall of 2006, after the birth of my first child, I began experiencing a flareup due to the autoimmune disease ulcerative colitis. Instead of nurturing a new baby with that new mother "glow", I wound up becoming a prisoner to my home and couch for three weeks before my mother came and forced me to the hospital. The pain was excruciating; the details gory. Day and night I fought an illness that made me think I was dying. I should have trusted my instincts. They took me off food for four days, and immediately prepared me for a colonoscopy that showed my intestines looking like they'd been through a meat grinder. All I remember from that colonoscopy is watching my mom chasing the doctors down after discussing the results and watching her ask them if I was going to die. The next thing I remember is a surgeon talking to me making plans to take out my entire large intestine. Before that step, I realized I had one last chance to save the situation through a drug called Remicade, an immunosuppressant given by infusion. It worked, to the amazement of the doctors (see what fervent prayer can do!) I was able to leave the hospital within a few more days on a drug I was told I would never be able to stop taking (Remicade) and also a high dosage of prednisone.Life at home did not go back to normal like I'd hoped and the rest of the world expected. I was unrecognizable in the mirror due to acne, extra swelling from the prednisone, and blotchy skin. My joints began severely aching, and I suffered from fatigue. I looked and felt like a malnourished person. A friend of mine described me as looking like I'd aged fifteen years. My husband grabbed my hand at one point, and lamented the fact that my fingernails looked yellowed and my hands aged.

I suffered with severe endometriosis, fatigue and multiple health issues. I wasn't officially diagnosed with the endometriosis until after my "exploratory surgery" at which point they were able to burn out several of the adhesions, however the primary adhesions that were causing the majority of the problems they were unable to get at. The only way to get at it was to do a second surgery which would require cutting me open my entire mid section, two surgeons one for my intestines and one for my reproductive area. The goal of the surgery was to clean everything and then put it all back in, hope that the adhesions wouldn't grow back. During this exploratory surgery, they also found a fibroid tumor on my uterus as well as issues with my tubes. Needless to say it was a good explanation why I was a walking pharmaceutical and took multiple pain medications daily and was very very sick most of the time. The best I could look forward to was about 7 or 9 good days a month where I felt like a somewhat normal person. My normal then was nothing compared to what most people experience as normal.
